Volunteer Support Group FacilitatorsFriday, June 13, 2008 - Thursday, December 31, 2009Women who are currently or formerly in an abusive
relationship come together in support groups to give and receive emotional support, resource information, and friendship.
WRC support groups use a peer facilitation model. You are not required to have a counseling or mental health background.
WRC volunteer support group facilitators are required to attend monthly continuing education classes in addition to completing the DV101 and Advocacy Training class.
