    UC-SUCCESS College Bound Institute - School YearMonthly Saturday Math and English Institute designed to increase student preparation in math (general math - geometry) and writing skills. Designed for students in grades 6-9. Meets one Saturday per month.
    TutoringFriday, June 13, 2008 - Thursday, December 31, 2009Tutor 6th - 9th graders in math/algebra/geometry or writing skills. Two hours per month for training; four hours per month, on Saturday, for tutoring
    Academic FacilitatorSummer Job-- working with students entering grades 7-10 in fall 2008. Pay: $12.00 per hour Position expected to work from July 1 -- August 8--Mondays - Thursdays, 9 to 3 pm., except one day per week until 4 pm. Responsible for tutoring/instructing math skills to small groups of the students enrolled in our UC-SUCCESS College Bound Institute Summer Program, an algebra and college preparation effort. Students enrolled are preparing to successfully apply to selective four-year colleges upon graduation from high school. Also will accompany students on visit to college/university campus and supervise student lunch and other non-classroom time. Must have demonstrated competence in algebra and geometry; experience tutoring or instructing middle or high school students;ability to work well with culturally diverse population; ability to work in Vallejo, California.
