The Medicare Assistance Plan (M.A.P.) Understanding Medicare can be a daunting task. People with Medicare want and need immediate answers to their questions. Few organizations have the time or resources to provide this type of specialized assistance to their employees, retirees or members. The Medicare Assistance Plan (M.A.P.) can fill the gaps by providing expert, up-to-the-minute advice and information about all aspects of Medicare. Demonstrate your commitment to quality health care and save time and money by offering M.A.P.'s unique services. The Medicare Assistance Plan is an off-site health insurance counseling service, providing immediate, high-quality information about Medicare to employees, retirees, and members. M.A.P. provides one-to-one Medicare information and counseling through a national toll-free hotline service in the name of a participating organization, along with customized educational materials for the organization.
Consumer Action Board The Medicare Rights Center’s National Consumer Action Board (“CAB”) is composed of community leaders throughout the United States who are committed to the principle that all Americans should have access to affordable, high quality health care. Each member of the CAB is a person with Medicare. The CAB serves as a national voice for people with Medicare, communicating practical policy positions to local communities, the media, policy makers and elected officials. The CAB works hand-in-hand with MRC staff to strengthen the voice of consumers in local, state and national health care policy.
